Good afternoon, everyone!
I am Zhou Bingkun of Qiuzhen class 90. I am honored to speak here as the representative of the graduates of Qiuzhen College in 2023. This past years, inadvertently, are at a glance. There are too many memories unforgettable. Whether it is the hard writing in the study room, the passion in the discussion class, the smile at each other after walking out of the examination room, or the competition on the card table in the middle hall, the sweat on the football field, are all rare beautiful memories in our life. Everyone has been from strange people to knowing each other well, from shy face to talking often. Time for us has built a great ship of friendship. Whether it is the reunion of months or the parting of the ends, the four years have connected us together. Many years later, when we recall the night sleeping in the realistic space and mathematics, recall the Rubik's cube turning on the desk and the chalk flying on the blackboard in the middle hall, recall the shady path walking together, no matter what scenery, when and where, our mood will immediately return to the garden that makes us dream about.
At this moment, the most unforgettable is the grace of our teachers. On behalf of all the undergraduate students in 2023, I would like to say thank you to our teachers, relatives, friends and guides who have been supporting us.
Thank you for our guide -- Mr.Shing-Tung Yau. The outstanding class and leading class enable us to appreciate the beauty of mathematics. The world will be difficult in easy, the world will be done in detail. Mr.Yau pioneered mathematics education, led us to draw nutrients from the history of mathematics, look forward to the frontier from top activities, and learn from various new courses and discussion classes, encouraging us to follow the famous teachers in the academy and explore first-class knowledge. In the face of our confusion and confusion in our study and research, Mr.Yau guided us to guard against arrogance and rashness, and encouraged us to broaden their horizons, extensively study various fields of mathematics, and study basic theories with great concentration. I still remember that when I entered the school, we emphasized the importance of stokes theorem with a unique Hong Kong accent. In my junior year, he encouraged us to use abstract language and use the international resources introduced by the College to explore the mysteries of geometry.
Thanks to the teachers who teach about students and scientific research. Teachers not only influence us with careful thinking, profound knowledge and rigorous scholarship, but also pay attention to our growth like relatives. When we learn multiple calculus, Mr.Yu Pin will be unique in teaching and introduce manifold and measurement theory in teaching, which helps us build a complete thinking system. When I make new corrections to the algorithm and certificate in the graduation design, Mr.Zhou Yuan will use his keen intuition to help me to judge the feasibility, which impressed me. When we are complacent and despise basic courses such as abstract algebra, Mr. Fu Lei will give us a "blow in the head" and beat us with difficult questions, making us realize that there is no end to learning. When we have achieved periodic results, our teachers Li Si and Ying Ying will also send their blessings to us in the WeChat circle of friends.
Thanks to the serious and responsible teaching teachers, warm and patient guides and the students who accompany each other. When faced with challenges in mathematics, we will work together for the estimation in the analysis, sleepless nights for the calculation in the geometry, and drowsy for the exchange map in the algebra. The joy of suddenly enlightened, the excitement of an inspiration, are our common memory.
Our growth can not be separated from the silent efforts of friends and relatives. It is your love and pay that enables us to get out of the haze again and again. It is your trust and support that gives us the confidence to meet the challenges ahead. You are a strong backing and the harbor of the soul, whether joy or frustration, will always accompany around us, give us confidence and courage.
To have a great achievement only by firm aspiration, and to wide your career only by diligence.
