We encourage candidates to apply for scholarships through various channels, including Chinese government scholarships (CGS), Domestic government (or enterprise) scholarships, etc. However, one cannot have more than one such scholarship at the same time.
For the scholarships offered by the Chinese Government, there are various types with different application requirements and funding, please refer to the CSC website (https://www.campuschina.org/). There are two types of application channels for the Chinese Government Scholarship(CGS)(https://yz.tsinghua.edu.cn/en/info/1027/1117.htm), Candidates who apply for scholarships through Type A, please contact the corresponding institution as soon as possible to avoid missing the application time.
For the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS), before you apply, please complete your application for graduate programs at Tsinghua University first. Considering the application deadline for scholarships, applicants who want to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A or Type B) should complete the application for graduate programs at Tsinghua University as early as possible. Based on past experience, we highly recommend candidates completing their graduate program applications by December. Otherwise, you may miss the deadline for some CGS Type B programs. Tsinghua University only selects scholarship candidates from pre-admitted students. The Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) cannot be combined with other scholarships.
Note that the specific schedule is subject to the policies of the CSC and Tsinghua University.
Qiuzhen College also has its own scholarships and here are three-tier scholarships, which are sufficient to support a student’s tuition and standard living cost. We encourage the students to apply for government scholarships first.
Note that candidates may not hold a Qiuzhen Scholarship concurrently with any other scholarships.
In addition, Qiuzhen College will provide TA / RA opportunities.
We will update relevant information in a timely manner according to relevant policies.
