On March 21, 2024, the 2023-2024 Spring Semester Teaching Assistant Peer Sharing Meeting of Qiuzhen College was held in Room 105, Jingzhai, Tsinghua University. Yifan Wu and Longtian Tang, the winners of the "Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award of Qiuzhen college", shared their experiences and experiences as teaching assistants respectively. Their sharing was detailed and vivid, not only involving the "core basic skills" of teaching assistant work, but also their experience and insights in improving work efficiency and quality in classroom maintenance, homework correction and other tasks.

Yifan Wu said in his sharing that when serving as a teaching assistant for junior courses, he should always be patient and careful, strengthen communication with new students through a variety of online and offline methods, take the initiative to ask students about their feelings and questions, and actively encourage and guide students to do a good job of basic knowledge reserves, guard against arrogance and rashness, and make gradual progress.

Longtian Tang said in his sharing that in the work of teaching assistants, we should focus on cultivating and improving the ability to find and solve problems, find and summarize students' weaknesses and common mistakes in a timely manner through classroom performance and homework, and communicate and solve them in a timely manner in the exercise class.

At the sharing meeting, the new teaching assistants and the outstanding teaching assistants actively interacted with each other and had a lively atmosphere, and all the participating students took a group photo after the sharing meeting. In the spring semester of 2024, Qiuzhen College will offer a total of 32 graduate courses, 56 undergraduate courses (including parallel classes), and a total of 79 course teaching assistants. The teaching assistant team includes senior undergraduate and graduate students from Qiuzhen College, as well as postdoctoral fellows from the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center. The teaching assistants of the Qiuzhen course work on Q&A, homework correction, and exercise classes, and play a very important role in the academic development of students.
