In the past, the Royal College(Guo-Zi-Jian) was the highest-level of academic institution in China. This magnificent building has been standing for eight hundred years. It symbolizes the importance of the past dynasties to Taoism and the eagerness for education. In ancient times, officials and scholars set up various kinds of etiquette, which were seemingly tedious and essentially meaningful. High mountain stop, heel wu former Xi'an, today we are here to hold the Qiuzhen College adult ceremony. Qiuzhen College is in its third year. We follow the teacher's teaching, study hard, and work together, in domestic and foreign competitions, excellent results, fruitful, worthy of our celebration!
The leading class of Qiuzhen College adopts a 3 + 2 + 3 system. The third year is an important year, which is the beginning of the growth of scholars and the beginning of entering the world family of mathematical science. The purpose of the College is to explore the mysteries of nature, find its laws, and complete the innovation in mathematical science. I firmly believe that the creation of the teachers and students of the College will soon be applied to society, which is of great benefit to both technology and the economy. We help human beings to understand themselves and settle down, which is in the same line with the teachings of the sages to "set the heart for heaven and earth, set up the life for the living people, follow the past saints, and open peace for the ages".
There are not many jobs that can leave footprints in history. I hope you will make a great wish, not only for yourself but also to win glory for the country and create history for mankind. We are not willing to be ordinary and highly motivated, and even if we fail to make a name in history, we let the heroes who made history step forward on our shoulders. Youth bloom, like the spring mountain field flowers; wish strong will, like the pine on the high hills. We must bear in mind the school motto of Tsinghua University: unremitting self-improvement, social commitment!
