Teachers and students of Qiuzhen College went to Huairou, Beijing for a study tour of Chinese historical practice.

The Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University has conducted academic exchanges with the Hua Class of the University of Science and Technology of China.
On May 27th, 26 teachers and students of the Hua Luogeng Mathematical Talent Class of the University of Science and Technology of China (hereinafter referred to as "Hua Class") visited Tsinghua University and held a mathematics seminar with teachers and students of Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University in classroom A112 of Science Building. The seminar was hosted by Professor Chen Zhijie, vice president of Qiuzhen College. Professor Sheng Mao, Professor Ma Jie, Professor Yang Di, and Professor Wan Hongyan attended the seminar. Mr.Shing-Tung Yau, Dean of Qiuzhen College, was very concerned about this exchange activity. He especially came to the seminar to welcome the teachers and students of the University of Science and Technology of China and took group photos with the teachers and students present. Shing-Tung Yau, an international mathematics master and chair professor of Tsinghua University, won the 2023 Shaw Prize in Mathematical Science.
On the afternoon of May 30, 2023, the latest winners of the 2023 Shaw Prize were released. Mr.Yau, an international master of mathematics and a professor at Tsinghua University, and Vladimir Drinfeld of the University of Chicago won the 2023 for their contributions to mathematical physics, arithmetic geometry, differential geometry, and Kähler geometry.

Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University and the School of Society and Population of the Renmin University of China jointly held the forum of "Dialogue with the Great Mathematician Mr.Shing-Tung Yau".
On the afternoon of June 1st, the forum was held in the press studio of the Press Building of Renmin University of China. The forum is jointly organized by Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University and the School of Society and Population of Renmin University of China, and co-organized by Yilin Publishing House. Professor Feng Shizheng, Dean of the School of Society and Population of the Renmin University of China, Professor Liu Wei, deputy Dean of Mingde College and professor of Philosophy, Professor Gong Xinxin of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and Professor Zhao Baisheng, director of World Biography Research Center of Peking University School of Foreign Studies, had a dialogue with Mr.Yau in the forum. Liu Wei presided over the forum. More than 200 teachers and students from various colleges of the Renmin University of China, Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University, and the High School Affiliated with the Renmin University of China participated in the exchange.
Before the forum, Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University of China, met with Mr.Yau Chengtong and the participants and exchanged views on the development of mathematics and the exchange and integration of mathematics, sociology, big data, artificial intelligence, and other disciplines. A bulletin of glad tidings! Students from Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University won a good achievement in the 14th Shing-Tung Yau University Student Mathematics Competition!
On June 11th, the 14th Shing-Tung Yau College Student Mathematics Competition was successfully concluded. The students of Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University achieved good results. Seventeen students won 22 Medals in individual events, one individual all-around prize medal, one silver team award, and two bronze team awards.
