Abstract

In this talk, I will introduce several exactly solvable lattice models for fermionic topological phases. These models include fermionic string-net models constructed from super-fusion categories, and fermionic symmetry-protected topological models from group super-cohomologies. If time allows, I will discuss some nontrivial properties of these models and list some unsolved related problems.

Mean-field interacting particle systems and McKean-Vlasov equation

AbstractMcKean-Vlasov quation describes heat diffusion in porous media and is the limit of propagation of chaos of system of interacting particle systems of mean field with a great number N of particles, known in 80s. Carrillo-McCann-Villani(03) renewed the subject by regarding MV equation as the gradient flow of the entropy functional on the space of probability measures w.r.t. the Otto- Villa...

      Fermionic Higher-form Symmetries

AbstractIn this talk, we propose a new type of global symmetries: the fermionic higher-form symmetries. We discuss examples with fermionic higher-form symmetries as well as the gauging and breaking of such symmetries. The talk is based on the work 2303.12633 with Yi Zhang
