Abstract

Charge conjugation (C), Parity (P), and Time-reversal (T) are three discrete transformations that act on particles and fields. C-P-T-fractionalization is the discrete group generated by C, P, T, and the Fermion parity F. In this talk, I will determine the C-P-T-fractionalization for spin 1/2 Lorentz spinors in all dimensions and explain the relations between the C-P-T-fractionalization in different dimensions. This is my joint work in progress with Juven Wang and Prof. Shing-Tung Yau.

      A Deligne-Simpson problem for irregular G-connections over P^1 | GRASP seminar

AbstractThe Deligne-Simpson problem asks for the existence of meromorphic G-connections withprescribed local behavior at the poles. l will explain joint work with Zhiwei Yun in which we give asolution to this problem for G-connections on P^1 with two poles, one of which is regular singularwith residue in a fixed nilpotent orbit, the other of which is irregular and satisfies a condition that wec...
