Abstract

I will report a series of ideas and problems that we came up with while trying to understand the nature of the recently developed homology theory for directed graphs, also called GLMY-homology or path homology. In particular , we will cover three topics: 1. a class of quadratic DG-algebras with commutator differential, realizing path cohomology, 2. Similarities between intersection homology and path homology. 3. Path homology with coefficients in a functor. If you are interested in the algebraic, categorical or computational sides of GLMY-theory, please join us, so we can work and discuss together.

Speaker Intro

I'm working in simplicial homotopy theory and its applications in path homology and homological algebra related to groups and Lie algebras. I'm also interested in applications of deep learning in contemporary mathematics.

Bigraded path homology and the magnitude-path spectral sequence | BIMSA Topology Seminar

AbstractThe past decade has seen large literatures develop around two novel invariants of directedgraphs: magnitude homology (due to Leinster, Hepworth and Wilerton) and the path homology ofGLMY theory. Though their origins are quite separate, Asao proved in 2022 that in fact thesehomology theories are intimately related. To every directed graph one can associate a certainspectral sequence - th...

Nested homotopy models of finite metric spaces and their spectral homology

AbstractFor over a decade, two theories have been actively developed: theory of magnitude and magnitude homology of metric spaces, and GLMY-theory of path homology of directed graphs. Recently Asao showed that for the case of directed graphs there is a unified approach to these theories via a spectral sequence which is now known as the magnitude-path spectral sequence. He also introduced a noti...
