Geometric Representation Theory Seminar | The FLE and the W-algebra

Time:2023-12-29, Friday 15:30-16:30

Venue:B627, Shuangqing Complex Building

Organizer:Will Donovan, Penghui Li, Peng Shan, Changjian Su, Lin Chen

Speaker:Gurbir Dhillon Yale University

Abstract:

The FLE is a basic assertion in the quantum geometric Langlands program, proposed by Gaitsgory-Lurie, which provides a deformation of the geometric Satake equivalence to all Kac-Moody levels. We will report on a proof via the representation theory of the affine W-algebra, which is joint work in progress with Gaitsgory.

Geometric Representation Theory Seminar | Higher representation theory of gl(1|1)

AbstractThe notion of representations of Lie algebras on categories ("2-representations") has proven useful in representation theory. I will discuss joint work with Andrew Manion for the case of the super Lie algebra gl(1|1). A motivation is the reconstruction of Heegaard-Floer theory, a 4-dimensional topological field theory, and its extension down to dimension 1.About the speakerRaphaël Alexi...

KLR algebras and their representations | Geometric Representation Theory Seminar

AbstractKLR algebras are a family of algebras introduced approximately fifteen years ago as part of the programme of categorifying quantum groups. We will discuss various representation-theoretic properties of these algebras. Along the way, we see an interesting mix of geometry, combinatorics and homological algebra.SpeakerPeter McNamara is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. His ...
