Abstract

The topological vertex, developed by Aganagic, Klemm, Marino and Vafa, provides an explicitalgorithm to compute the open Gromov-Witten invariants of smooth toric Calabi-Yau threefolds inmathematics, as well as the A-model topological string amplitudes in physics. in this talk, l willintroduce our recent work on the connection between the topological vertex and multi-componentKP hierarchy. This talk is based on a joint work with Zhiyuan Wang and Jian Zhou.

A relation between the topological vertex and multi-component KP hierarchy

AbstractThe topological vertex, developed by Aganagic, Klemm, Marino and Vafa, provides an explicit algorithm to compute the open Gromov-Witten invariants of smooth toric Calabi-Yau threefolds in mathematics, as well as the A-model topological string amplitudes in physics. In this talk, I will introduce our recent work about the connection between the topological vertex and multi-component KP h...

Space curves and solitons of the KP hierarchy | Topics in Integrability

AbstractIt is well known that algebro-geometric solutions of the KdV hierarchy are constructed from the Riemann theta (or Klein sigma) functions associated with hyperelliptic curves, and soliton solutions can be obtained by rational limits of the corresponding curves. In this talk, I will associate a family of singular space curves indexed by the numerical semigroups $\left \langle l, lm+1, \do...
