Abstract

The theory of Bruhat-Tits buildings was developed to study the structure of reductive groups overlocal fields. Today, it finds applications across a broad spectrum of mathematical disciplines. in thistalk. l will explain the construction of Bruhat-Tits buildings associated with general reductive groupsover local fields.
