Title:

A physical space approach to bilinear estimate and its applications to nonlinear wave and dispersive equations

Abstract:

I will give a brief introduction to all kinds of nonlinear wave and dispersive equations arise in physical applications and what kinds of problems people are interested.

Then I will present the new div-curl Lemma of myself and Wang and give explicit calculations how they can be applied to linear wave and Schrodinger equations as well as other dispersive equations to yield positive or useful quantities. Then I will briefly explain how they be possibly apply to a wide variety of nonlinear problems. Finally, I will report on my recent works with my collaborates in this respect.

Structuring the structures of nonlinear localized waves in optical and matter-wave media

AbstractThe creation and manipulation of nonlinear localized waves including various types of solitons are among the paramount and advanced research field in nonlinear physics that generally includes three interdisciplinary directions: chaos, solitons and fractals. Particularly, instead of launching the critical collapses in two dimensional self-focusing systems and 3D supercritical one, novel ...

Stochastic equations with Divergence-free Drifts and its application

Abstract This talk focuses on time-inhomogeneous stochastic equations driven by additive noises with divergence-free drifts in Lorentz space $L^{\infty}(0,T;L^{d,\infty}(\mR^d))$. We will cover conditional and unconditional well-posedness, along with Aronson type estimates, followed by practical applications to the McKean-Vlasov equation with singular interaction kernels.About the speaker I am ...
