Title:

Theories about Variational Quantum Algorithm and Quantum Alternating Operator Ansatz

Abstract:

This talk will introduce two theories about VQA (Variational quantum algorithm)/QAOA (Quantum Alternating Operator Ansatz): (discretized) adiabatic evolution, and dynamical lie algebra. The former gives an insight on the minimal depth of the circuit required for a specific problem, and the latter examines the feasibility of the classical optimization.
