Introduction

Multiple linear regression, residual analysis, regression diagnostics, variable selection and model selection techniques, nonparametric regression, generalized linear models, varying coefficients regression models, bootstrap regression, multivariate regression techniques, analysis of repeated measure data, analysis of missing data and different imputation techniques, quantile regression.

R programming language will be used throughout the course for all computations.

Lecturer Intro

Prof. Kiranmoy Das obtained his PhD from The Pennsylvania State University, Statistics Department, and has taught in Temple University (USA), Presidency University (India), Indian Statistical Institute (India). He has published nearly 50 research articles in Statistics, Medical Sciences, Computer Science and Biology, has supervised 2 PhD and more than 30 MS students. He received the prestigious C.R Rao National Award by the Government of India, in 2021. He has joined BIMSA as a research fellow in August 2023.
