Introduction

This course will focus on a formal presentation of definitions and theorems on quantum channels in quantum information theory.

Numerous mathematical proofs of these theorems will be showed.

Lecturer Intro

Meng Cao received the PhD degree from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Tsinghua University, in Aug. 2020. From Sep. 2020 to Nov. 2022, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in YMSC, Tsinghua University. Since Dec. 2022, he is an assistant research fellow in BIMSA. His research interests are the theory of quantum information and error-correcting codes.

      String Theory II

PrerequisiteSTRING THEORY IAbstractString Theory II covers the physics of the supersymmetric strings, from the perturbative regime to the non-perturbative one. The theory of supergravity and anomalies are reviewed from a geometric perspective. BPS objects and non-renormalization theorems are described from different viewpoints. Calabi-Yau compactifications are discussed in detail. The course co...
