Since the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded for the understanding of complex systems in 2021, complexity science has emerged as a focal subject of almost all applied disciplines. IdopNetwork has proven its power to reconstruct informative, dynamic, omnidirectional, and personalized networks from a wide spectrum of data domains and application scenarios. Its seamless integration with Prof. Yau's GLMY homology theory can shed light on the creation of a new subdiscipline – topological statistics. This subdiscipline could provide a powerful tool to characterize the hidden patterns of complex systems and also potentially facilitate the development of AI theory and applications.
To disseminate idopNetwork into a broader science community, BIMSA applied statistics team organizes a mini-workshop on the reconstruction of idopNetwork. Several seasoned statisticians will provide an overview of key statistical approaches applied to network inference. Experienced post-docs and students will give a step-by-step procedure of how an idopNetwork is recovered from messy data. Many examples will be illustrated.
