Abstract

For a smooth surface S, Kapranov and Vasserot constructed a Hall algebra structure on theBorel-Moore homology of the moduli stack of (compactly supported) coherent sheaves on S. Weconstruct a 3-dimensional refinement of this algebra associated with the canonical bundle Ks. Thisis achieved via a microlocal interpretation of cohomological Donaldson-Thomas invariants of localsurfaces, to which end we develop a new theory of microlocalization in the context of derivedstacks. Based on forthcoming joint work with Tasuki Kinjo.

  • Nakai Conjecture for Homogeneous lsolated Hypersurface Singularity | BIMSA AG Seminar

AbstractThe long-standing Nakai Conjecture concerns a very natural question: can diferential operatorsdetect singularities on algebraic varieties? On a smooth complex variety, it is well known that theing of differential operators is generated by derivations. Nakai asked whether the converse holds: ifthe ring of differential operators is generated by derivations, is the variety smooth? We will ...

  • Nonabelian Hodge theory for stacks and BPS cohomology | BIMSA AG Seminar

AbstractIf C is a smooth projective complex curve, the nonabelian Hodge correspondence gives adiffeomorphism between the coarse moduli space of degree d rank r semistable Higgs bundles onC, and r-dimensional d-twisted representations of the fundamental group of the underlying Riemannsurface of C. lf r and d are not coprime, there are strictly semistables with nontrivial stabilizers, andit perha...
