The topic of this conference includes General Relativity, non-linear waves, fluids, and related fields. The developments of the last few decades have proved that the interaction between people working on fundamental problems in Nonlinear Wave Equations, Geometric Analysis and General Relativity is extremely beneficial to all these areas. There has been great progress on the open problems of general relativity, but important challenges remain.

  • Structuring the structures of nonlinear localized waves in optical and matter-wave media

AbstractThe creation and manipulation of nonlinear localized waves including various types of solitons are among the paramount and advanced research field in nonlinear physics that generally includes three interdisciplinary directions: chaos, solitons and fractals. Particularly, instead of launching the critical collapses in two dimensional self-focusing systems and 3D supercritical one, novel ...

  • Introduction to EMRIs and Space-Based Gravitational Wave Detection with LISA

Abstract:This course offers an introduction to extreme-mass ratio inspirals (EMRIs) and their study through the LISA mission. Students will explore the theoretical aspects of astrophysical relativity relevant to the generation, evolution and detection of gravitational waves. We will examine the scientific benefits of EMRIs from the viewpoint of fundamental physics, astrophysics, and applied ma...
