The progress of future science and technology is inseparable from teenagers. Academician Shing-Tung Yau, the president of the International Conference of Basic Science, hopes to cultivate young people's interest in science from an early age and hopes that they will become truly capable, ambitious, scientific, and literate generalists in the future, devote themselves to basic scientific research and help China's scientific and technological progress. This International Conference of Basic Science will hold several special activities for young people to create a platform for young people to pursue their dreams of communicating with science masters.

On July 16, the International Congress of Basic Sciences opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology organizes young representatives who are interested in basic disciplines and have learning potential to observe the opening ceremony, experience the global science event, and listen to the frontier and development trend of world science. After the opening ceremony, the representatives of the teachers and students were encouraged and talked about their experiences.

Event on July 22, “Face to face with the master”
At the event on July 22, eight masters in mathematics and physics will be invited, including two Fields Prize winners and Princeton professor Andrei Okounkov and Caucher Birkar at the Shing-Tung Yau Mathematical Science Center at Tsinghua University. The youth representatives will listen to the masters' imagination about the future development of mathematics, physics, and other disciplines, and the student representatives will also interact with the masters on the spot.
Event on July 24 / 26 "Face to face with scientists "
On July 24 and 26, this event will cover high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, and three exchanges will be arranged according to the study phase. Students will have face-to-face communication with well-known scientists at home and abroad to discuss scientific frontier, scientific thinking, and scientific research, to gain unprecedented learning and exchange experience.
Event on July 28, “Youth Science Poster Exhibition”
On the closing ceremony of July 28, the "Youth Science Poster Exhibition" will be held. Students will work with 30 experts to observe the science poster display and listen to professional guidance and suggestions. The scene will also watch the middle school students' art performance,and feel the youth vitality and colorful talent.
