On emergent conformal symmetry near the photon ring

AbstractTheconformal symmetry plays an essential role in finding the holographic pictures of black hole. In this talk, after reviewing the study ofconformal symmetry in black hole physics, I will introduce our recent construction of the emergent near-ring conformal symmetry

On Ushijima’s cell decomposition and discrete conformal mapping

AbstractIn this talk, we will introduce the canonical cell decomposition of Teichmuller space established by Ushijima, and compare the face relations to our own work on discrete conformal mapping. Then we will calculate several generalized Ptolemy equations on a hyperbolic surface. Finally, we will discuss some open problems on parameterization of Teichmuller space in order to make the face rel...
