Title:

Legendrian knots and Lagrangian fillings

Abstract:

Legendrian knots and their exact Lagrangian filings are center of the low dimensional contact and symplectic topology. They can be used to classify 3 dimensional contact structures and 4 dimensional Weinstein manifolds. In this talk, I will explain the geometric construction of exact Lagrangian fillings and the algebraic machinery to distinguish them. This is a joint work with Roger Casals.
