Abstract

This will be a week-long workshop held at Tsinghua Sanya International Mathematics Forum (TSIMF), from January 2nd to 8th, 2023. The workshop will be held in a hybrid mode. Most talks will be held offline, but the participants can attend the talks on Tencent meeting.

In the last two decades, there have been great progresses in probability and stochastic analysis. In particular, four Fields Medals and two Wolf Prizes were awarded to probabilists in the past twenty years. In addition, probability and stochastic analysis recently have generated increasing interactions with other fields of mathematics, such as complex analysis, PDEs, statistical physics, statistics and theoretical computer science, etc. This workshop will bring together experts to talk about recent developments in probability and related fields, discuss research problems of mutual interest, and initiate new collaborations. Furthermore, for the development of young mathematicians, plenty of time is left for young scholars, including Postdocs, PhD students and even undergraduate students, to present their recent works.
