Abstract

The relation of conformal map mapping, holomorphic function and cartographic projection was summaried from the perspective of complex analysis and manifold mapping, which we think can be considered as a fundamental theory of comformal map projection. Then, the main topic is focused our recent works about the formula optimization and extension of Gauss–Krüger projection.


Speaker Intro

Jia-Chun Guo is Associate Professor in the School of Science, Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei, China. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees from Hefei University of Technology and Wuhan University in 2007 and 2020, respectively. He is Member of Education Commission of Chinese Society for Survey and Mapping and his current research focuses mainly involve map projection, mathematical geodesy and geodetic data processing.
