PI: Yi Zhu

The computational mathematics group focuses on solving scientific problems arising from natural and social sciences via theoretical and applied mathematical tools, including mathematical modeling, applied analysis, numerical methods, and mathine learning. In recent years, many important achievements have been made in mathematical modeling, applied partial differential equations, numerical methods, deep learning, optimization, numerical algebra, matrix analysis, inverse problem, and image processing, etc. The group currently hosts over ten projects from the National Key R&D Program of China and National Natural Science Foundation Program of China.
